My friend for whom I was caregiving while he battled cancer, did nothing but sing Westsides praises. When I returned to San Francisco after being away for a few years, they helped me get hooked up again with services. Another friend who is on methadone for pain mngmt, uses Westside for his dosing when he visits. They have been nothing but supportive, professional, and respectful.

I recently moved to San Francisco, looking for work and couch hopping. A very hard transition, and I am without resources for health care for the moment. I am so glad I found these people. Yes it is a long wait, and there are some personalities there you might wait next to... (security is sweet and great) you might have to devote entire day to getting help but once you meet these warm people they will certainly help you. My medication had run out( Dr from where I moved told me that there was a refill and there was not) and I was very scared as it is the type that if stopped cold turkey can be dangerous. They take nearly 2 hours with each person to really understand the situation, and give the right care. Not ..here are your drugs and go...more like a cautious appropriate plan and follow up. That they did, and I felt like I was in good hands in a new city with no money while scared for my health. Feeling better already and like I have a resource here that was much needed and felt out of reach before. Thank you guys!

Sweet people. I dont know what or how they changed their tude, but yup they are a a 180 of what they once were. Love these people, service, and am eternally grateful they exist. I'd be stranded mentally without. Another soul on the lost highway if mental illness. Smh Thank you W.C. Xoxoxo
