West Portal Spa is a local business that provides a range of services, including pedicures and manicures. The spa is known for its friendly staff, particularly the owner Karen, who is described as wonderful and welcoming. Customers have praised the high-quality services, with one reviewer noting that the pedicure was "beyond my expectation" and another mentioning the "picture-perfect" manicure. The spa also features two friendly dogs that act as ambassadors, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere. However, some customers have commented on the noise level and crowded environment, finding it less than relaxing. Overall, West Portal Spa seems to offer a mixed experience, with excellent services balanced by a sometimes hectic atmosphere.
I don't quite understand the negativity that this place had been recieving, I went in there and had a pedicure, the staff was super nice, it was quick and simple and not bad for $40. I got scared by the dogs barking at first but then they calmed down which was nice.
I’ve been coming here since they first opened, and I always get gel extensions. The workers always friendly and welcoming, and they really take their time with my nails. I’m pretty picky about my shape and length, but they always check in with me to make sure it’s exactly how I want it before finishing. I never feel rushed, and if I want to change something, they’re always understanding about it.
On top of that, their prices are really affordable for a full set of gel extensions, especially for the quality of work they do. I always leave happy with both my nails and the service.
I had a really positive experience here! The staff was kind, attentive, and made sure to listen carefully to what I wanted. They checked in throughout the appointment and paid great attention to detail.
I’m so happy with how everything turned out — exactly what I asked for. The atmosphere felt welcoming and professional, and I’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!
