You can tell he's a caring doctor. Not sure was he able to find a PT Russian speaking receptionists. The poor doctor has to do everything himself... including filing all the patient's prescriptions/files by the old fashion way.... into a file drawer The office is located on Geary Blvd and 33rd Ave. There's another called Richmond Vision Care which is on Geary and ~ 24th Ave

Never had an eye doc cancel on me due to strange phone confirmation policies, so I suppose people ought to be aware of what happened. Be sure to check your phone a bunch.Booked weeks in advance. They cancel appointments on the same day by text. Very unprofessional. They will claim they left a voicemail the day before and their policy requires that you confirm by phone (?). They didn't leave a message the day before - but left 6 seconds of silence and 9 seconds of silence in my voicemail, on the same day. Basically, if you don't reply by text to confirm in less than an hour they will cancel your appointment.

Dr. Makedonsky is a very caring doctor. He takes the time to hear my concerns and explain the rationale behind the prescription he chose for me. When I developed an eye irritation he was able to diagnose the cause right away as an allergic reaction to the contact lens solution I was using.He also cares for the community and goes out of his way to help his patients.
