Absolutely the rudest receptionist, even by UCSF standards. I took my teenage son in after school around 3PM for a bone age scan. Two receptionists, none of whom says “hello” or “welcome” or any kind of greeting. I picked one at random, sitting on the right, who checked us in. It was not crowded, so after 30 minutes of waiting I went up to the desk and asked how much longer do they estimate it would take. For that i was rewarded with a blank, Gen-Z stare from the receptionist. I should have taken down her name. She just stared, and said nothing. Had to get a last min EKG today before catching an international flight, and wasn’t aware that they are closed for an hour during lunch. I was starving but decided to wait for 40 mins outside of the room as I was short on time. One of the technicians (couple rooms right to EKG check-in) David asked if I needed help. After finding out I had a flight to catch soon, he called the technician and found out she left for lunch. He asked me to go get food and told me where would have food in the building. UCSF Radiology Oncology dept at Mt Zion is not a good place to go. Try someplace else. The Tomo machine breaks down constantly interrupting treatment plans, and the oncologist there is an egotistical jerk. Save yourself the drama. I've left that place in tears during treatment.. because the Dr is such a creep. Cancer is hard enough to navigate, without a treatment doctor that is rude, cruel, and mean. Go someplace else.
