Dr. Trinh and his whole Thoracic team are the best! So caring, empathetic, and intelligent. My husband was in the best hands. They took great care of him. We cannot say enough nice things about this team.
Because of Covid concerns, I was only allowed to drop off and pick up one of my love ones (patient) on day of surgery. They have a valet outside which is helpful in directing traffic as Divisadero is a busy street. In terms of patient care, they seemed adequate and no complaint from patient. I was updated via text from pre-op to end of surgery. I was then called personally by the managing nurse on how things are looking and when I should be picking up patient. The type of meds they will need, the type of care that they will need, etc. This is the part that was a bit overwhelming as I was trying to remember all these details. Overall, I found them professional, caring and efficient.
Dr. Christina Brickman is one of the foremost experts in her field yet explains & demonstrates exactly what she is talking about. Her "bedside manner" is as if she's an old friend while being as straight as an arrow in plain speaking.We have ZERO qualms putting our lives in her hands; thank God we found her for treatment of an extremely rare cancer.
