I had my first young puppy in almost 30 years and knew I needed help in getting her well trained. She started in the Top Dog Head Start program as an anxious pup and has now grown into a more confident little bestie. Mike is such a knowledgeable trainer and his expertise and dedication is worth every penny. He send daily videos with the skills they work on so you can see progress and practice at home. The investment during your dog’s formative weeks/months impacts their whole life. I can’t recommend Top Dog Head Start highly enough!!

If you live in San Francisco and are the owner of a new puppy, I can't recommend the puppy head start program enough. Mike, Michelle, and the rest of the team went above and beyond to make sure our brand new bernedoodle puppy, Louie, turned into the best boy.
Getting a puppy was a wonderful but stressful adjustment to our lives. We signed up for the 5-day a week program, which allowed us to focus on work and ensure Louie got the attention and training he needed at 9 weeks old. If I could give Top Dog 10 stars, I would. My dog is currently enrolled in their puppy Head Start program for pups 8-16 weeks old. It is the only program I know of this kind in the city, and I feel it is money well spent. Puppy trainer Mike is incredibly knowledgeable. It is entirely appropriate to call him a puppy whisperer. And puppy counselor Michelle is wonderful with the dogs. I really appreciate the training videos they send each evening, showing what they’re working on with my pup. The videos help me replicate the training at home. Knowing that we are a bilingual household, they took it upon themselves to teach our dog commands in two languages. If you have... read full review
