I traveled all the way from Portland Oregon specifically to get my hair done by Ro, and it was worth every penny!! I got the best haircut of my life, shockingly good color, ICE CREAM, and to spend time with my very favorite barber in the whole world. I now feel like myself again! Ro takes the time to have the conversation of how I like to show up in the world, how I express my gender, and how I want my hair to support these things. I feel profoundly affirmed and beautiful! Thank you, Ro, my gratitude knows no bounds! Go Barb! ??
I've been seeing Ro at The Barb for several months now and I'm obsessed. She's genuinely learned my hair over time, and remembers the little (big) things--my cat--visit to visit. This morning a stranger stopped me while boarding the 49 to ask where I got my cut, which felt like the best possible endorsement. Highly recommend Ro and this uber feel-good place! ?
Brought in my 4yo daughter today and I was amazed at how Ro held her attention. The cut turned out great and didn’t require a phone or iPad to keep her still. The promise of rainbow sprinkles at the end didn’t hurt.
I know $55 for a kids cut seems high, but with gratuity/kids cone included it seems comparable to most kids cuts in SF I’ve paid for. And it was the highest quality we’ve gotten.
