I have a family baptism dress that is nearly 100 years old. I wanted to have it cleaned to baptize my own daughter, but it was horribly stained. I went to 4 different cleaners who told me it couldn't be saved. Then I looked online and found Sonia's, specifically Stephanie. She looked at my garment thoughtfully and took her time explaining what she could try and also the potential damage that could be done. She made sure I was very well informed before agreeing to try. Well, she worked her magic!
The dress is beautifully restored and my daughter got to wear a piece of family history and pride thanks to Stephanie. Highly recommend Sonia's, they’re the best!
I’ve been going to see Stephanie for years now. I’ve been for alterations, cleaning, and everything else a good dry cleaner should provide. The service is always incredibly high quality and I trust this shop with all my garments. I’ll be going here as long as I live in SF.
I've had alterations and repairs for pants, shirts, and bedsheets. They aren't cheap, but their work is worth the cost. Every alteration has been true to the original stitching, and each repair has well extended the life span of every article I've brought in.
