If this is your first time trying Skin Spirit and you’re hesitant about a “chain” med spa vibe, I get it. I was too—turnover, sterile experiences, and not always the most relaxing atmosphere. That said, I will follow my favorite facialist anywhere she goes.

I want to take a moment to shout out Seda, who is truly extraordinary. I followed her from Monastery (where I was a total devotee of her work and their skincare line) and tracked her down at Skin Spirit after she transitioned there.

I’ve already had two treatments with her — we did a simple facial first and then dermaplaning and Diamond Glow — and I truly can’t recommend her enough. She is amazing.

Seda is incredibly attentive and such a true professional. At the same time, she works so delicately and gently — you feel completely safe in her hands. The atmosphere in her room is pure relaxation and coziness: soft music, dim lights, warmth… it feels like a reset not only for your skin, but for your nervous system too.
