So happy I discovered this place! The owner, Thy, is so nice and always does an amazing job with my nails.
Not sure if appointments are required, but I recommend making one as the space is very small and they usually have only 2-3 techs working at a time.

I have gone to this location for a few years now. There aren't many places in SF that do acrylic nails anymore (and do them well!) but Hong and Thy both do an amazing job with fills/new sets. They have a large range of colors to choose from and are both very attentive to shaping/length preferences. I have also received pedicures here and the entire staff are very friendly and kind. It is very easy to make an appointment online or to call the store as well. Fills last a very long time and I always get so many compliments on each set!

Edit: I went in and they fixed the nails for free to make it out. I've been a couple of times but this last time, I got a gel manicure and two fingers chipped pretty badly within 48 hours. I'm pretty disappointed because I definitely like the nail tech rushed me through the process and didn't leave enough time for the gel to set. Unfortunately, given how much I paid, I think I'll try another place next time instead.
