I’m in love with sanctuary salon! My stylist, Marella is so great!! The atmosphere is quite serene. It’s such a treat for me when I go in, it’s self care done right. There are so many nice details, like the lovely kimonos you have the option to wear for added protection to your clothes under the cape. And they are so pretty - a fun and fancy touch to the whole experience. The space is visually inviting. The owner is very personable and warm. Marella, my stylist is an absolute dream - talented and professional. I have platinum blonde hair and go every 4 weeks for a root touch up, and she makes my hair look fabulous! Ricardo/IG:reaching.radiance was my hair stylist in 2021 in Central Coast. When I moved back to the Bay Area this year, I knew exactly who I was going back to. He never disappoints and always ensures my hair looks top tier!
To start, this salon is a joy to be in, with super cute decor and friendly staff, and is centrally located, which I love.
I can’t say enough good things about Stevie specifically - she’s not only incredibly talented with both cut and color, but she also really listens to what you want and somehow makes it even better than what you pictured. Every time I leave her chair, my hair looks and feels amazing. I also really appreciate that she takes the time to understand my style, lifestyle, and comfort level before suggesting anything.
