My experience at the San Francisco Center for TMJ & Sleep Apnea has been nothing short of life-changing. I walked in feeling overwhelmed by constant jaw pain, headaches, and sleepless nights — and walked out with real answers, a clear plan, and a sense of hope I hadn’t felt in years.

The team here is exceptional. From the front desk to the clinical staff, everyone is warm, patient, and genuinely invested in your well-being. They take the time to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and make sure you feel understood rather than rushed.

The level of expertise is truly impressive. Everything was explained in a way that made sense, and the diagnostic process was incredibly thorough. You can tell they’re using advanced technology and modern techniques, but what really stands out is how personalized the care feels. It’s not a one-size-fits-all approach — they tailor everything to your specific symptoms and lifestyle.

Since starting treatment, my jaw tension has eased, my headaches have decreased, and I’m finally sleeping through the night again. It’s hard to put into words how much of a difference that makes in your daily life.

If you’re struggling with TMJ issues or sleep apnea and want a team that combines deep expertise with genuine compassion, this is the place. I’m incredibly grateful for the care I’ve received here.

I initially came in because I was struggling with constant jaw pain and poor sleep, and I finally felt like someone truly understood what I was going through.

The staff explained everything clearly, including how my TMJ issues were connected to my sleep problems and what treatment options were available. I never felt rushed during appointments, and every question I had was answered with patience and care. The treatment plan was customized for me, and I started noticing improvements sooner than...read full review

Incredibly pushy sales tactics are used against you at every turn when you visit this office. Prices are ridiculous compared to traditional dentists. Their mouthpieces have, so far, alleviated some of my jaw pain, but they try to push a new, expensive, seemingly unnecessary procedure on me every time I visit.I believe their mouthguards can help you, if you suffer from TMJ pain. However, you are going to have to resist being constantly sold new procedures. You are also going to have to pay, quite a lot. These mouth guards cost me $5,000. A regular dentist would charge a tenth of that for a similar orthotic. Also, don't believe all these 5-star reviews. They manipulate...read full review
