“I can't say enough good things about choosing to work with Vee for our wedding and engagement photos.

To begin, I love her style artistically. She takes clear photos, that are vibrant and don't look filtered, so I believe they'll stand the test of time and not become unreasonably dated. She does a wonderful combination of candid and posed—which was exactly what I wanted for my wedding—to capture the real moments and also get romantic shots with my husband and posed group shots. She captured every detail of the setting, our attire, those attending, didn't ask my husband and I to pose in ways that were 'not us,' and even made ordinary gift bags on a table look incredible. I couldn't be happier with the photos themselves. She also created a mini-video of our wedding day, and just like the photos, it was wonderful, personal, and sweet. I love that she provided this option and thought it was a perfect way to get both photos and video for a very affordable price.

She went above and beyond. Vee invested in us ahead of the wedding during our engagement photos, chatting with us and figuring out how we were together, so that the wedding day was more natural. And she wasn't familiar with the venue I selected, but she traveled there ahead of time to scout it out. She found the most amazing place covered in twisted vines and blue hydrangeas just outside our venue for our beauty shots, and I hadn't even thought of it. She didn't need to do any of that preparation work at all, but she did, and her investment showed.

She is also kind and never pushy. I can be a little shy, but she was easy to talk to and so very nice. She also really respected my requests and didn't try to oversell me on things I wasn't comfortable with, which wasn't always my experience when I was originally talking to a variety of different photographers in the beginning. I both like and trust her as a person, not just as a an artistic photographer, and I think that's important when you're working with someone to capture such intimate and important moments in your life.

Additionally, I found her services exceedingly reasonably affordable, especially when you consider location, quality, delivery, the packages she offers (video + photos), travel, preparation work she did, how much personal attention you get as she works with you, editing, and the kind extras she threw in for us. She was also fast. I've never known a photographer who got edited photos back to me as quickly as she did! That shocked me.

I don't know the next time I'll need photos taken again, but I plan to work with her when I do. I couldn't have made a better choice than Vee to do our Photography.“

“I cannot say enough good things about Larissa. She was one of the absolute best decisions I made regarding our wedding. I was just looking for a few “money shots” of our wedding, you know, the photos you frame and hopefully end up on your grandkids wall one day. We have only gotten our “preview shots” back and she also already delivered SO much more than that. She managed to capture so many of the emotional moments of our big day but was never intrusive. She just somehow knows exactly where to be when to get the best photos. Also, my husband and I both usually feel a little awkward in front of the camera, but Larissa completely put us at ease. “We had a very pleasant experience with Yiqian and do recommend her. Our two young kids are very active and somehow Yiqian still managed to get many of photos of them. Before our session I had a consultation session with her, where she gave me details of what to expect as well as what she color palette she recommends we wear. The day of our session, the weather was a bit rainy. Yiqian drove to the location earlier to see if the weather was ok so that we didn’t have to drive and turn back. Yiqian was very patient during our session and gave us directions on how to pose. She also checked with our expectations during the session to make sure we got all the combinations we wanted. After the session, we received 140+ photos in one week (mind blowing) and we absolutely love them. These will be cherished.“
