I used a laundromat in Brooklyn, NY. I never used a laundromat in San Francisco, CA. Perhaps my father said I could use his laundry device machine. The other places were nice and let me do my laundry in the home. I asked about doing laundry and was advised to use "wash and fold" and I found that Pete's Cleaners by the Chinatown tunnel(Union Square) offers "wash and fold" same day by 4pm. It's $25 so that you don't wait too long at the confusing laundromat. Most people like to use at home laundry for comfort and organization. It was easy enough. By the tunnel!
I am on a trip and just needed my clothes washed and folded. They were very nice and were able to do it by the next day. My only issue with them is that they aren't in New York. Unfortunately, they do have a minimum order value of $25, but everywhere offering this service has a similar one. For the ability to not think about laundry while traveling it is definitely worth it.
Very efficient. Clothes weighed in front of you. Their folding is also very good. Same day wash and dry is also available. It’s 2.5 $ per pound. Minimum 25$. Very pleasant lady at the counter
