Onyia's Rehabilitative Massage

I was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in 2019. I chose to get the Western medical model of treatment, which in my case was surgery (mastectomy) and chemotherapy. After my hospital treatments, I felt I needed massage therapy to avoid lymphedema. Onyia's gentle and thorough treatments not only prevented any lymphedema symptoms. . . but she helped me to relax and feel better on all levels. She also is a fountain of knowledge! I highly recommend therapeutic sessions with Onyia.

I haven't been here before but tried to book an appointment today (September 22nd) on the website and it said the next available appointment was January 12th. I'm assuming there's a problem with the booking section on the website. Bummer because I was hoping to book a massage this weekend.

Onyia came recommended to me by my health provider and she was absolutely phenomenal in our first session together! She is hands-down the BEST massage therapist I have had so far, and I have definitely cycled through over a dozen bodywork specialists between San Francisco and NYC. I am bummed that shelter-in-place has to affect her business right now but I cannot wait until my next appointment when things are lifted again. Getting good bodywork done is unfortunately expensive but Onyia's work was sincerely worth every penny.
