She was very rude upon meeting her, no hello or nothing. Then she botched my hair, made me look like DORA, and had the audacity to say “let it air dry”. She had so much hair to work with, practically down to my butt. I wanted my hair short too! So there was no excuse for this horrendous cut that I received. SHE DIDNT EVEN OFFER TO STYLE IT FOR ME, and when I did ask, I was met with attitude.

Booked an appointment at 4pm. Arrived at 3:59 and waited for 20 minutes without anyone telling me anything. Finally at 4:20 I walked inside and checked with Rosa and was told it was gonna take her another 20 minutes at least to provide service because she was behind. Without any apology or any other explanation. Just asked if I wanted to reschedule. I have been here for multiple times to trim my hair band and recommended to my friends because I thought Rosa did a good job. But never again. If there’s zero star, I’d give them that.

I went into Oma with hopes of finding my next go-to hair salon and I'm quite disappointed with the outcome. I told Li that I liked the current shape of my hair and wanted to keep the long layers look, I just wanted to trim 3 inches off to remove the dry ends and freshen up my curtain bangs.
When she did the initially rough/guiding cut, it looked very promising - I liked where my ends landed when everything was brought to the front. However, when the cut was finished, my hair was significantly shorter than the 3 inches I had requested - like 6 inches had been taken off over the course of the cut. It looks more like a lob, rather just a shorter version of what I came in with. It'll take months for my hair to grow back to the length I wanted to leave with.
I'm not good at confrontation but I imagine Li could sense some of the disappointment, emphasizing how it would be easy to maintain. I paid and tipped out of courtesy but I don't know if I would come back.

I got the cut with rosa ..i’m very disappointed how this turned out because I never had chunky end like this, it looks really bad with out blow outs and my hair was better before this haircut. She also cut too much length when i asked her to keep the length and it’s not properly layered and just chunky straight end. I’ve been to a lot of hair salon but this is the first haircut that I dislike because the other stylist were able to do what i asked for past few years but she said my hair was too thin for what i asked for. It turned out always like the picture but she failed to achieve the hair I asked for. Also, it felt like very rushed.

I found the salon on TikTok and saw that Rosa was a highly rated stylist so I booked with her. Unfortunately, my experience was very uncomfortable. From the start, my interaction with her felt awkward and impersonal. There was a lack of warm greeting, no “how are you?”or “how was your day”, and that definitely left me feeling like I was not wanted there.
When I explained that I only wanted to trim about an inch off my ends, Rosa insisted on lecturing me about hair care and tried to convince me to cut more than I was comfortable with and this made me feel very pressured. I probably had to say the words, “I’m only comfortable cutting off one inch” about 13 times. She then goes on to ask me how frequently I trim my hair, to which I told her 1-2 times a year or whenever I feel like I need a haircut, which she was very clearly not pleased with and started a lecture overusing the analogy of how having split ends is like having a cracked window.
The most terrible part of this experience was when she started cutting my hair without any notice. She was visibly displeased by the fact I didn’t want more than an inch off, so when she started cutting without my consent, I almost had a heart attack. I hadn’t even gotten the opportunity to express that I wanted other things (layers and face framing pieces).
It got to the point where it was so awkward and I felt incredibly dismissed that I had to tell her I wasn’t comfortable with her cutting my hair. To this she responded “I’m not comfortable cutting your hair either because we can’t agree.”
I’m sure this salon has skilled stylists but my personal experience with Rosa was terrible.

I’ve been going to Rosa regularly for my haircuts (short-mid length + layers) for a few years now and she always gets it right. She’s always very attentive and knowledgeable, so when I decided to dye my hair recently I knew I had to book w/ her. Ghost roots + haircut both done by her, and I genuinely could not be happier with the results 💗
