Brought in two short-sleeve button up shirts and was charged $39 due to a “stain” fee and an embroidery surcharge. Neither charge was mentioned at drop-off or included in the estimate.

I arrived for my 11am appt which had been confirmed online and the tailor was not there. I was asked to return at noon. When I did he was with another customer. He did not know any way apologize or even acknowledge the issue.

seriously the best find. obsessed with taking my clothes in - probably my best life hack this year is bringing in my clothes to mulberry’s for professional altering or dry cleaning.
makes a night and day difference to your wardrobe - plus this place is extremely cute, fast, efficient, SMS-first and does an excellent job.

I had an alteration done for a suit jacket. Kathryn was kind and did a great job! The alteration appointment took 5 minutes and the jacket was ready several days ahead of schedule!

I’ve been going to Hannah at Mulberry for alternations for about three years now, and she’s the only person I trust with clothes I really care about. Her work is consistently excellent, clean, precise, and always feels right. She has a very good eye for fit and proportions, and everything comes back looking natural, never overdone. Beyond the quality of the work, she’s also incredibly reliable and thoughtful, which is hard to find. At this point, I don’t even consider going anywhere else.

Mulberrys ruined my $600 jacket and refused to take any responsibility.
I trusted them with a brand-new tweed jacket from Sandro that had a minor drink spill. As it was expensive, I paid extra for insurance thinking it would cover any potential damage. When the jacket was returned, the tweed was torn & frayed all over, and covered in extreme pilling. I was shocked that they could return something in such terrible condition and contacted them immediately.
They agreed to inspect it and later insisted on sending it to the Dry Cleaning & Laundry Institute (DLI) to “determine the root cause,” saying I wouldn’t be eligible for compensation otherwise.
Over a month passed, and eventually they claimed the damage was due to a “construction issue” with the jacket manufacturer — Sandro, an extremely reputable European designer brand — and denied any responsibility.
Despite my efforts to explain the jacket was high quality & in brand new condition before they handled it, they refused to take accountability and told me to deal with the brand directly. At the end, they returned the ruined jacket without any sort of compensation.
TLDR: Avoid Mulberrys if you care about your clothes. Even if you pay for insurance, they will not take responsibility for any damage.
EDIT: In response to the owner's comment - your team already knows that I went to the manufacturer (Sandro) and their response was that the garment had no manufacturing issues & this was an issue with how the dry cleaning was performed.

The SO brought in a bunch of items for dry cleaning and in short this place rocks and is worth the cost.
Super convienent and fast service. The place is easy to find and super clean inside.
They take great care of your items and everything returned looking like new. I had designer branded luxury items, silks, mixed media with woven and velvet trims plus other technical fabrics and mother-of-pearl buttons.
I highly recommend this place for dry cleaning services and will definitely check out what other services they offer.

The last pickup had a shirt with broken buttons on both sleeves. I took it back for repair. After I left, I wasn’t sure if I would be charged for fixing it or not. My receipt for my pickup was not detailed. A final cost but nothing about hire items and cost for each.
I had to ask for the receipt.

I've been working with Mulberrys for a while and they are a good dry cleaner. I had a bit of a hiccup with pick-up and drop-off of my clothing, but they were very responsive and helped me coordinate an expedited pick up and got my clothes back to me in time for when I needed them. I was very happy with the level of customer service.
