Lyon-Martin Community Health Services is a medical facility where patients feel heard, seen, and respected. The staff is kind, patient, and caring. Dr. Gorton is a scientific doctor, on top of the literature and communicates very clearly. The staff truly care about patients' health and make them feel seen and heard. Patients are getting the best care available. Lyon Martin is always very caring and helpful, and quickly responsive of any issues. This clinic is loved because people are so nice. Dr. Gorton is very smart and nice, and patients look forward to appointments with him. He explains things in an empathetic way. It feels like running into a professional friend who can help.
I’ve been coming here for over 6 years now, this is the only clinic I’ve ever felt safe to come to as a brown trans person. I’ve been able to get my medications and a lot of helpful information for gender affirming surgeries. I can’t recommend this enough esp if you’re queer. So grateful for Lyon Martin!
This is a one stop shop and I'm grateful to have found it. I'm transmasc and have never felt more comfortable with an OBGYN. I pass out when getting blood drawn and every time the staff has been kind and considerate with me. The general practitioners and nurses are attentive to my needs and pleasant to be around. It has a community feel that's very comforting in a medical setting. I'd highly recommend giving them a chance
Ok. I verbally gave my amazing doctor a star review on Thursday and just gave a LM nurse a today. Dr. Gorton is the MOST scientific doctor I have ever had. He is on top of the literature and communicates very clearly (I am a scientist so I know ). The staff truly care about my health and I feel seen and heard in ways that surprise me because of my previous experiences with the medical industry (i'm in my late 40s). I am getting the best care I can possibly get in the world, especially as a trans person but I am sure all patients are getting the best care available! !!
