I had a pretty positive experience with the Lutz Plumbing crew and Phil who went out of his way to help me with my Kohler toilet. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again at any point with Kohler products. I did have some additional work I would have loved to have them complete but the quotes came in quite high for my pressure valve and expansion tank. I like to pay people fairly.... but having to pay for the crew's commute from SF at their hourly rate was cost prohibitive for me. I live in the Eastbay and given the rough traffic during peak hours would cost me a bunch more than I was prepared for. I took a star off for that reluctantly. We had a difficult job installing a new toto toilet and Lutz did an excellent job with a difficult situation. The contractors who installed the previous one definitely cut some corners, but now I feel safe and clean with my Japanese toilet from Lutz.

As real estate professionals, we've dealt with our share of plumbing companies. Phil, owner of Lutz Plumbing and his technician, Isaac, are one in a million.
We were first introduced to Lutz for plumbing service for our own home - we were serviced by Lutz since they are the Bay Area's Kohler authorized service representative (apparently for the last 20 years). Isaac serviced our Kohler plumbing issues and we were very impressed with his timeliness, professional courtesy and excellent customer service - he even took the time to educate us of our Kohler products' additional functions and maintenance.
