Locals has a great vibe and the barbers all seem friendly and talented, judging from the happy customers afterwards. Luke cut my hair and not only listened to what I wanted but executed it perfectly. He took his time to make sure I got the right cut and I recommend him highly! Thanks again, Luke!

You guys, I really want to shout-out Shawnjit as a true pro. I have been going to him about every 2 months for the last 10 years(!). First professional barber I connected with when I moved to S.F. and his shop then happened to be nearby...and then I followed him to Locals years ago because that's the guy I want cutting my hair. He's just got a great eye, even for a cow-licked a$$ head of lettuce like my own, ha. Anyway, highest recommendation...chill dude, sense of humor, knowledgeable, and, in my experience at least, a good soul. That's as high as I can rate, and the Locals Setting is cool too, the owner does a great job--solid vibe. SF's finest.... read full review

Had an amazing haircut and experience here, will definitely be coming back! Lobo was my barber, and he is such a friendly, energetic individual, but also a professional and master at his craft. He took his time (1hr 15 min) to ensure my cut was perfect (midskin fade, combover on top). I have asian hair, and this was the best cut I have had in many years; I am glad I discovered this place, and will be coming back to Lolo in the future. He also does an amazing hot towel and head massage treatment towards the end; very relaxing and almost fell asleep.
They also offer complimentary drinks (sparking water, coffee, whiskey, etc), but was a bit too early for... read full review
