kaori was incredibly skilled and precise. she really took her time with my hair making sure it looked perfect. her focus and attention to detail is so admirable. i got a bob cut and it was def trust the process and it turned out amazing esp a few days after. my asian hair is especially thick and i have so much of it and she spent so much time thinning it out and making it look even. she also gives an amazing massage and the best relaxing hair wash. i would trust her with my hair again!

Mrs. Kaori was very kind, patient, and attentive. I also liked that the salon was open after most people come back from work, and that it’s only 1 haircut at a time (sometimes a packed hair salon can be really intimidating). Would definitely come back here to get my hair cut again

There is magic is in Kaori’s shears! I have half wavy, half frizzy straight hair with cowlicks. She cuts my hair in a way that works effortlessly with my waves and thicker texture. Because of this, I can often do the bare minimum when it comes to styling and still look put together. I won’t be going anywhere else for cut!

I think the choice of barber is a very personal choice - you want to find a really good one that understands what you want out of a haircut, and also has to be able to construct that haircut on a bi-monthly cadence. For me, I found Kaori through Yelp. She is best reached through text, and she is responsive. The first time I showed her the haircut I was going for, she was able to understand immediately, and she was also able to work around my difficult hair (read: male pattern baldness). I have been going to Kaori for a year now and I plan to continue going!
