This review is way over due but this place made me believe in Chinese medicine when I was a huge skeptic my whole life as my parents go for any issue. My mother forced me to get acupuncture when I hurt my ankle. I couldn't even hop without sharp pain in my ankle. I had to crawl up their stairs and I walked out on my own and without the crutches I had been using for weeks. I know it's not placebo effect because I was excited to get it over with so I can tell my mom it didn't help but it did.
Dr Huang is an excellent classically trained acupuncturist. His ability to pick up the subtleties is acute. He'd one time, during taking of my pulses told me I'd had an argument. It's true, My husband and I had just quarreled before I'd arrived. Hadn't told him this. His practice is more Classical Chinese acupuncture with people and children waiting patiently in his small office, Cantonese , Mandarin and English being spoken all around you. His patients are quite varied. I wasn't the only white face there. Many of us non-Chinese seek him out. He's just that good. If this
Dr. Huang is the best. Place could use some updating but as for his treatment, It almost is magical. Tendonitis in my elbow was 90% gone after two visits. It would have taken at least several months of physical therapy to fix it but two visits was all it took here. I've been coming here for years for my mom also and he's never failed to treat our issues. Thank you Dr. Huang!
