Okay, this place is pretty ghetto. They take a really, really, really long time, but not necessarily in a good, meticulous way. I'm not sure why it takes so long, but schedule at least an hour and 30 minutes for mani pedi, sans serious dry time. The polish chipped the next time, both times I've been there. Though it's named "Happy Nails," it's more of a barber shop. The people who work there are quite friendly, but I'm on a mission to find a great nail place in my hood. This does the job for same day event, but that's about it.

GHETTO-EST FOOT SPA!!! (2 stars) Who busts out with a portable plastic foot-spa you can buy at walgreens fr $10 bucks? - starting out with 5 stars - minus seven stars for ghetto equipment (balance at -2 stars) - plus four stars for lady who did my feet (balance at 2 stars) = 2 stars In need to get my two toned feet all pedi-up for a warm weekend in Lake Tahoe. My usual place had no openings, then went went to plan B to my second place, and plan C for my third place; all no openings and about a hr or so wait. Boooo.....so the chick was nice so thats one star and then i have this rockin emerald Green on my toes so thats the second star. I'm just hoping that that I don't grow anything green on my feet. This place is SO disgusting!!! Nothing is sanitized, she uses the same files and even the same toe separators on EVERYONE...IWE!!! And to top it off I chose to get the non massage petticure and she charged me the same price! 15 bucks for fungus and nail polish spewing onto my toes. When I asked why the prices were the same all of a sudden she didn't speak english anymore! First and last time at the happy nail salon P.S. my nails are not happy!
