I have been going to Happy Hair almost since I moved to San Francisco and I can't recommend it enough. I was tired of paying $100+ haircuts for haircuts that some times fell short, so i decided to do some research and find this gem.
Besides a very reasonable price, Mr Lee always gets it right. He always pays attention to what you want, is open to feedback and works on your hair until he gets it right and im always happy with the result. Last haircut I was extremely satisfied. I was looking at my hair and thinking how it looked so much better than many of the $100+ and feeling bad about how i had wasted my money.
I’m AMAZED. Such perfect haircuts. It’s shocking that it’s only 20 bucks. You would easily pay $60+ anywhere for this service. I’m also fascinated by the fact that he understands different hair types - I have really curly Indian hair, and he knows exactly how to work with that. UNCLE IS THE BEST - GO TO HIM!! Never going anywhere else.

Haircuts are low on my list of priorities as I'm usually forced to pay a lot of money for forced small talk and to look slightly different - not the case at Happy Hair Studios. It's a small establishment with only the owner providing his services but I wouldn't go anywhere else, he is such a kind man who also works fast and efficiently. This location isn't hot on the extra services or anything fancy, but for a good clean haircut that isn't too awkward, you can't do much better.
