I coordinate my haircuts for when I’m in SF specially so I can sit in Chauntae’s chair. She’s been cutting and coloring my hair for 10+ years at this point & I love knowing I’ll be leaving her salon feeling confident and looking my best.
I love the welcoming and vibe of the salon and grabbing a coffee next door before my appt. A real sense of community.
I had a great experience with Danielle last week. I booked a haircut with her after finding her on tiktok and she didn’t disappoint! She explained the whole process on how she could get as close to the inspo pic I showed her and I’m super satisfied with how everything went. They also offer water and beverages when you come in which is a plus!
If you’re thinking of diving into (or already rock) short hair, please please see Chauntae. I avoided short hair expecting I couldn’t keep up with styling or maintenance. Never been the case with Chauntae’s cuts, which also grow out beautifully! She’s masterful shaping cuts to suit your hair texture & anatomy. Chauntae’s an all-around beautiful human keeping her slice of the city filled with art, community, & good vibes
