Mari has been my most trusted hairstylist to date, especially since moving to SF in 2021 and having to find a new colorist. She has kept my hair beautiful and healthy through years of bleach and tones. I appreciate how Mari is collaborative and so knowledgable when exploring different cuts and colors.Mari and Chauntae have created a warm, inclusive, and fun environment for all hair needs and genuine connection. As a queer person of color, it's been rewarding to support a LGBTQ+ business. And they're just really good at what they do. I can't recommend Habitat Hair Salon enough!

Mari has been my stylist for almost 7 years now and I could not be any happier!! I have followed her with every move and now she and her partner have their own shop. A lovely, well appointed space that is in a very convenient location; and they offer a complete range of hair services along with retail products. These pictures were taken over this period. Amazing!I’ve been a loyal client to Mari for the past 5 years! Whether I was looking for a drastic color change or just a trim, she knew exactly what I would like and what would look great on me.The salon is beautiful and has a great vibe to me. I always look forward to my appointments ?
