Great spacious studio, nice teachers here. I don't go to this location as much as the others because it's further, but most times I've gone have been great. Anna's Yoga Sculpt class is definitely challenging!Parking can be a pain given its the inner sunset, so make sure you give yourself ample time before class starts. Wish there was a water fountain or cooler.

The classes are okay, though somewhat elementary, which may or may not meet your specific needs. However, I must express significant disappointment regarding the handling of my membership. My monthly subscription was auto-renewed for $200, a situation complicated by the fact that I am currently residing outside the U.S. and had only visited San Francisco for a few weeks. When I requested a refund due to my inability to attend the classes, the company denied it. They proposed crediting my account instead, but this is not a viable solution for me as I have no intentions of returning to the U.S. So, bad customer service approach.

Love Folk’s variety of classes from yoga flow, power flow and yoga sculpt. Great to build my yoga practice and now develop strength and cardio. Anny Huang’s yoga sculpt class today was fun and eclectic. The class started with a meditative grounding and then built up to a fervor where I felt like screaming hallelujah ?. Then the practice closed with a meditative shavasana. Quite a unique experience.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience in my class with Jenn at Folk Yoga. As a new mom in the postpartum phase, Jenn created a nurturing and comfortable environment that allowed me to feel safe and relaxed, even away from home. The yoga facility is truly a gem in our community, and I couldn't be happier with the overall experience. I wholeheartedly give Folk and Jenn a perfect 10/10 recommendation. Thank you for providing such a fantastic space and instructor!

[EDIT] I ended up going to a class at this studio which I quite enjoyed, although I still think that it would be wise to be a bit more lenient about people arriving several minutes late.Arrived 1 minute late and not allowed to enter, which resulted in ClassPass charging me $17…..

I’ve been attending classes consistently here since it was Moxie Yoga, and I absolutely love this studio. I really enjoy the ethos behind the Folk brand, it feels very inclusive of all bodies and abilities. I suffer from chronic pain and the flow and restore classes have been a game changer. The teachers here are so kind and create a supportive atmosphere. I’ll be a member forever.

Frustrating there is no website, and I just showed up to the wrong location apparently? Folk is what I booked. The only inclination of it being somewhere in the sunset at a place with a different name was in a tiny font. This is really Terribly designed. I am sure I'm not the first person to book a class for Folk, and apparently was booked for a place called Moxie. You really need to make it clear there is a sister location, and not book classes for Moxie on the Folk website. If you have to share website, please make it more clear. As someone who is neurodiverse -- I have no idea what class I just barged into and felt stupid. Even at Folk, the door said closed, but was open... and there was no inclination anywhere there was another location with a different name. I'm just frustrated that I wasted time and money and had to spend 15+ mins after to look up whatever address I found on the invoice -- to see it was linked to a studio with a different name. I would really like to be able to try the sound bath, and would appreciate a credit to come to the other location since I thought I was booking this for Folk on Divisadero. Happy to change the rating if an owner could honor this but I cannot even get a dial tone. It's just a busy signal. I really needed this class and was on time. I'm sad now and frustrated and embarrassed. There was also no one at the desk at Folk to talk to. How am I supposed to talk to someone if no one is at the front desk, and no one will answer phones, and Moxie doesn't have a website? Please make this more user friendly ASAP. I really wanted to try your studio and consider it as a regular, and this was not a good initiation.

It's a cute hidden little spot in Sunset. The instructors are really sweet, but the sound of the N train going down 9th Ave can be heard from inside the studio.
