Fantastic haircut for $25, better than anything I've ever gotten. Scenery is a little surreal, but Jim is a great guy!Service: Haircut

First off, decent haircut, decently priced, and convenient. But anyone who walks in must feel an urgent need to run out of there. The environment you place yourself in is dirty, careless, and extremely unprofessional. It seems like he's living in his "barbershop" and there is nothing wrong with that! But when you're home is also your business, you need to be able to separate what belongs where... This place is dirty, messy, cluttered, unwelcoming, looks abandoned, and is not good for ANY type of business. He had furniture everywhere, trash all over the place, and an unorganized atmosphere. The best thing about this residence is that it has beautiful molding on the ceiling that is completely dragged down by the rest of its perimeter. All of the hair products he had to offer seemed like they have been sitting around for YEARS and do not seem safe to use. I wish I was a forward enough person to just leave but I wanted to give him the benefit of the doubt. Turns out he cuts hair like he knows how to do nothing else, he has many strange and unnecessary stories to tell you, and is a very strange and dark person. Now if I did not get a nice haircut (which is mediocre), I would be giving him 1 star, but I'm not. Either way it seems, people keep going back to him for decent cuts and decent prices and that's their own decision!! Now.... ‼IF YOU ARE TRIGGERED BY RACIST REMARKS OF ANY SORT, DO NOT GO HERE ‼ This man is a very dark individual and he is not shy to admit to that. He said very creepy things that speak on his level of consciousness and morality. IKEA somehow dropped into the conversation and one of the first things he said was "they have drawers that babies crawl on and have knocked over them, and they die" ........... like I'm sorry, but WHAT??!!?? Who the f*** THINKS of that type of s**t off the top of their head???? PSYCHOS. After hearing some weird WEIRD stuff, he had a long story that just seemed like he swam in the ocean of nostalgia, and doesn't want to dry off. After hearing some stories and things he just really HAD to say, I just thought to myself...okay... he's off-putting and creepy but whatever, I was just hoping he wasn't a serial killer. NOW... we got to the topic of the Trump vs. Iran news and he referred to "people out there" as "SAND N**GERS"!!!!!!!!! I don't know if he could tell, but I am of Middle Eastern decent and did NOT appreciate that term he used. This man is RACIST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HE SHOULD NOT BE RUNNING A BUSINESS, PEERRIIIOD!!! Do NOT give this man your business unless you are a RACIST and want to experience what I believe is a homeless-styled "BARBERSHOP" But for Gods sake, I can't stop anyone from visiting this place although I think it's in any humans best interest to NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR BUSINESS!!!! I cannot lie, I am slightly fearful of this man and it takes a lot for me to be sussed out by people. MORNING-AFTER UPDATE: WOKE UP THIS MORNING WITH A RASH THAT BURNS AND IS EXTREMELY IRRITATING. THIS MAN USES OLD PRODUCTS. I THOUGHT IT WAS A DECENT CUT TILL I GOT A GOOD LOOK THIS MORNING. UNEVEN LINES, DIDN'T LISTEN TO MY SPECIFIC INSTRUCTIONS OF HOW I WANTED MY HAIR TO BE CUT, HE IS A RACIST AND BAD MAN. ALREADY REPORTED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF CONSUMER AFFAIRS. DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN YOUR BUSINESS UNLESS YOU WANT RASHES, UNEVEN HAIRCUTS, UNWANTED HAIRSTYLES, AND PROVOKING UNSOLICITED RACIST REMARKS THROWN AT YOU‼‼‼‼‼‼‼

Very interesting barbershop...We had a 30 min conversation about Michelle Obamas gender and he showed us some videos saying she was a heThe haircut was OK, a little bit old fashioned and not exactly what we have asked for. I think when you go there multiple times he will know exactly what you want and is able to repeate the haircut every timeWas nice meeting you Jim

Unique barber shop. Old fashioned shop. I have been going there for years. Nothing fancy just a great haircut with stories.

Don't go here. Went a few times and got to a decent haircut, but Jim's racist old fool and he'll rant at you about that the entire time you're there. I showed up for my last appointment and Jim wasn't there. I rang the doorbell a few times and got cussed out by his roommate (Rahul?) who was mad that I woke him up from his nap. It was 6:30pm. Jim never showed up. Avoid.

Worst haircut I have ever had. It is very uneven. The top is not at all what I described and it looks nothing like the picture he showed me. Everywhere I look I see sloppy work and uneven lines from all angles.
