Earthbody is my Goto place for massage! I have been going for years and am finally writing a review. When I am stressed, my body absorbs it everywhere. My muscles get tight, my back hurts, my neck gets stiff. I go to Earthbody and the masseur takes care of me. I do not even request any particular masseur because I have never had a bad one!
It is a small place with a relaxing waiting area. They provide tea and a hot towel while you wait and the books to peruse include The Four Agreements and Maya Angelou poetry - lovely! For reference, I am an active 64 yr old woman and have been going to Earthbody since my 50's.
Several hours ago, I completed a 1-hour massage by Vanessa at Earthbody. I feel both energized and relaxed. Some areas of my body, like shoulders and feet always seem to hold tension. This session really freed them to calm down and relax. The staff is wonderful and thoughtful. It was my first visit, but it won't be my last.
Okay, so I've had lots of massages. Some good some not so. But let me tell you, this place knows what they are doing. The intentionality is evident the moment you walk in. Their reception is a actual reception. A warm welcome with tea, a rose, and a warm scented towel. Then there is Ish. Ish is/was my massage therapist. Seriously one of the best massages I've had in my life. And to top it off there is aftercare. What an amazing experience. Is it expensive? Yep, sure is. Even if you only splurge once at least you'll know what an amazing massage experience is like.
