We planned a funeral here and I called a week before to ask if we could meet with the director. Her response was basically, “I’m busy every day—why do you need to meet? Everything’s taken care of.” I explained we wanted to go over the order of service and details to make sure the memorial went smoothly. She said there was a pastor who would handle it and that he’d call us, but we never heard from anyone.

Funeral director failed to (1) see veil was not placed over casket before service began; (2) ask guests to stand when minister and family processed into chapel; and (3) announce how attendants would direct guests to view decedent. Attendants disturbed family throughout service.
