I just want to state that these experiences are mine and that yours may vary. We didn't use all the services but, only very basic ones. I just want to say I felt that Hilda was only a text or phone call away if I had a question and, she answered fairly quickly. Our short process was straightforward and I was kept abreast of progress the whole way through. I felt that I saw true caring in Hilda's eyes when she asked how I was doing on our last meeting, when I was at one of my lowest points.
My family had a funeral service at Green Street Mortuary. The service had surpassed our expectation from start to conclude. Hilda was our counselor and led the service throughout. She has been a calming presence when we were completely clueless and in shock. Not only it never felt pushy on services like I had experienced with other funeral
home before, she provided multiple service plans and explained clearly on what to expect and that did not feel business driven. The topic of death is never easy for anyone and I can honestly say that having to go alone to a Mortuary is a horrible feeling. You are devastated and upset and when I got there, Jefferson and Elaine made me feel so at ease and calm. I didn't cry at all. Throughout the process they respected my wishes entirely and I appreciated that so much. I would strongly recommend coming here. Elaine, was so sweet in uploading my mom's video. They made me feel so comfortable and were so accommodating. I would give 10 stars if it was available.
