It was painful. I asked for less pressure, said ouch many times, and it continued to be painful. I was wincing and made grimacing faces and expressed pain verbally. I am glad I only committed to the 30 minute. Perhaps the reflexologist doesn’t realize his strength? I don’t know if he understood me, because when I tipped 2, he asked for 5 more. I am in pain. It ended with yanking on my feet which I felt all the way up in my lower back. Added stars for cleanliness, but probably wouldn’t return.
I got a massage from Lily in November '23. A lot of deep tissue massages are often too painful for me; even after I give feedback to decrease the pressure, the experience ends up being more and more uncomfortable. Lily, however, responded to my feedback and even welcomed it. They were just a couple of times where she insisted on working out a knot. She immediately pinpointed a spot where I have a long-standing back injury and was able to focus on that area little, and when I told her about a wrist injury she also did extra work on that area. In fact it was probably my best arm massage I have ever gotten and I usually don't really care much for arm massages.... read full review
The best Chinese massage in town! They get lots of the small things right and I've always felt really comfortable when I go. Easy to find a parking spot and walk-ins is welcome but booking an appointments in advance is recommended. Staffs are patient and nice.
