I wish I'd known about this clinic YEARS AGO!! Dr. Kiera Levy and her staff are exceptionally supportive, professional, efficient and accommodating. The clinic is quiet, clean, friendly, and in a beautiful neighborhood too. Highly recommended- but ONLY if you return the respect they deserve!!! My rating is not based on the care that patients recieve which I consider to be extremely good from every level of care from office staff to medical staff. My review is based on the $15,000,000 remodeling which took a clinic that had a naturally lit, comfortable, friendly, inclusive, community feeling and transformed it into something that feels more like a prison. The staff that check patients in have been placed into a box of a space completely sealed behind glass. They seem to sence the seperation that now exists between us. I went upstsairs and found myself alone, no sign of anyone, feeling uneasy. The feeling was more like a locked down facility than a welcoming care center. Fortunately the first person who came through the door into the waiting room from the clinicians rooms, was a colleague of mine. We didn't have time for me to ask him his feelings but it was sure nice to see him. I was once again alone. The door opened, a nurse appeared, asked me to follow her and we entered a long sterile white hallway with many planks of wood hanging on rollers; a cellblock of a prison was the feeling I got and I've only been in jail once for five hours for being drunk in public, and preaching on the bus. That's my review. I was excited by and looking forward to experienceing the remodeled facility. But, other than seeing, speaking with, and being cared for by my excellent doctor, nurses, and staff; I have no desire to return to the Castro Mission Health Clinic, and that represents a great loss.

I had the best experience from a health care center here!!! Everyone went above and beyond to help me even though I went there 30minutes before closing!! Nurse maya made me feel so relaxed and taken care of.

Had the best experience as a first time patient.The security girls, the reception lady at the window 1, the reception lady at the 2 floor, the nurse (Maya) who went over my records and the the nurse (forgot her name) who did the blood test for me were all great and friendly.I haven’t seen any doctors yet, hopefully doctors are also as competent and friendly.

I just want to say thank you to The Castro mission Health Center and especially Dr. Eveland for her help, understanding and care. The staff is amazing and I am grateful to have such a wonderful doctor, that takes the time to go the extra steps that ensure her patients are in healthy and happy!

"Healthcare" HA!! What a Joke!! Go to this Clinic to die. So unprofessional. misdiagnosis left and right. No communication. No follow thru.
