I absolutely love Ms. June and her salon. I have been getting my hair serviced here for a few years now, and I can't imagine going anywhere else. My hair is so beautiful and healthy, even with over 15 years of straightening my hair. And it is the longest it has ever been.Ms. June is so kind, professional, and attentive. She listens to you when you just need a good ole Salon-therapy appointment. Lol.

I've been hesitating writing this review because June is incredibly sweet and I support her business. But I wish I saw this review before I went and spent $450. I wanted a deep scalp cleanse and treatment. I had major product buildup and used heavy oils and wanted to finally invest in scalp health. I did not know how much it would be going into it. I spent $100 deposit online and understood because of my long hair it would be extra. While June did a great job on my scalp, I do not think the scalp treatment was worth $450. However, afterwards she roughly brushed my hair and blow dried it after, which I didn't want. I only finger detangle due to how fragile my hair can be and I left with so much breakage. I wanted to leave with my 2c/3a curls but when she was diffusing it was clear my curls would be a frizzy mess, so June switched to blowing them out. My hair was so frizzy and poofy by the time I got home 20 mins later, I had to totally redo it. I was disappointed with the experience and will have to look elsewhere going forward.

Wonderful experience at BSS. Love, love, love my hair, and far better recreating of the style I selected than I had even hoped for. June is highly professional, responsive AND personable, I spent 4 hrs. in her shop having my consultation, conditioning, texturizing, coloring, cut and styling. June explained everything as she was doing it, and also showed me how to care for the style on my own. She researched and texted me regarding the best products to maintain my style sold by my favorite supplier . I initially balked at the price but decided I'm worth it, especially when calculated on a cost per month. June is already addressing some of the challenges with booking on line. But I'm glad I was patient about getting the appointment, because I understand and respect June's commitment to her clients after being the beneficiary of her undivided attention during my visit.

I love this salon, I've gone here since I was a child. Ms. June has kept my hair healthy, long, and strong since o could remember. I even recall when I finally started doing my own hair, I came crawling back to her everytime I messed it up and she would remedy it, so as soon as it came, it left. I'm greatful to her for my hair and my hair's health and I dont think I'd even know what I'll do if she wasn't around.
