This is such a fantastic shop to come into. We came in with a big group of friends from out of town and six of us ended up getting tattoos. The artists were all super professional and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. They were very experienced and they had no issues getting all of us in and out quickly. Thanks for helping make our time in San Francisco that much better.I would definitely come back when I'm in town again.

It's the best shop in SF, and one of the best in the US. Paul is an absolute legend. The shop is nice, clean, and inviting. Classic tattoo shop feel. The prices are high, but that is because you are at one of the top spots for a tattoo. You pay for what you get. The booths are private, the appointment process is efficient, and the checkin is easy. Absolutely no complaints. Black Heart is everything you want in a tattoo shop and nothing you don't. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy, but I've always walked here from different parts of the city and haven't had any issues. As is with most of SF, parking isn't great.

Black Heart is a special place. The inside is clean, and the walls are plastered in incredible pieces of flash and stunning works of art. The receptionists are always welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The artists are phenomenal and they all offer their own unique styles. I am lucky and blessed to be able to get my tattoos done by Jeff. Not only is he a kind human being, but he’s also one of the best tattoo artists in the world. I love Black Heart so much that I travel from out of town to get my work done here. I mean there’s a reason why this shop has been in business for as long as it has.Service: Tattoos
