About Bay Club San Francisco
Bay Club San Francisco is a premier fitness destination located in the heart of the city. Established in 1977, it offers a luxurious and comprehensive active lifestyle experience. The club features impressive amenities including spacious indoor areas, two swimming pools, a sauna, and a steam room, all maintained to high cleanliness standards. Members can enjoy a variety of fitness options, such as yoga and Pilates classes in a dedicated studio, along with a comprehensive squash program. The atmosphere at Bay Club is described as welcoming, with friendly staff creating a familial vibe. However, some reviews note that the gym's organization is lacking, particularly regarding equipment availability and maintenance. While some members appreciate the focus on a more mature clientele and the spaciousness of the facility, others feel that the disorganization of dumbbells and the condition of some equipment can be frustrating, especially given the membership costs. The membership advisor, Jordan, has been praised by multiple members for his professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine interest in finding the best membership option for each individual. He has guided members through the process seamlessly, answered questions promptly, and helped them get involved in various offerings at the gym.

I dont understand how they continue to increase the cost of membership without increasing value.
I'm sure that my group of 8 members as well as my friends with similar members will leave when they increase the dues again.
It costs more than $2200 a year to be a member of this club and what do you get?
1. Difficulty parking in the lot because there are limited spaces and employees are parking there
2. Swim pool is grey and boring and there is build up of water where you place your towels-- perfect breeding ground for athletes foot
3. Management is useless, club is owned by private funders who have no interest in fitness, members only PROFIT
4. Benches at side of pool are flimsy
5. Front desk says no one listens to them so asked me to post here on google
6. Golden gateway has only 12 parking spaces
7. Try Equinox, Fitness SF and other clubs that may come here soon. These...read full review
