I love getting my nails done and I have been regularly getting gel nail polish for years. I was really excited to try archer for the first time, but my overall experience was mediocre. My nail tech was very nice and my nails looked good when I left, however : I got a gel manicure with a simple design (glitter fade) and removal of my old gel. Total with tip was $110, which is pretty pricey. The appointment took forever, close to an hour and a half. A lot of that time was spent on removing my old gel, which has never taken so long. This place is a vibe. Nestled in Hayes valley it's cute and always has great music. Everyone is so nice and they have the most talented nail technicians/artist! I've never been happier!

Absolutely AMAZING service and experience! After years of visiting your average nail salon in the city (florescent lights, crowded seating, etc.) Archer Nail Bar was like entering into a 5 star hotel lounge. Great vibe, friendly staff, and relaxed aesthetic. There was even an actual "bar" for manicures - super cute. Especially appreciated the pedicure set-up: instead of the big chair/jet bin combo (notorious for bacteria buildup) Archer uses individual bowls with fresh water. The gel mani / pedi package I got for Mexico lasted the entire trip, with minimal chipping in the face of water sports and pool days (photo is from my return flight - 10 days post mani).... read full review
