I had excellent lessons with both Rita and Arturo! Rita is patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging, while Arturo is equally skilled and has a talent for using metaphors that build confidence and enhance the process of becoming a more proficient driver. I took (and passed! ?) my driving test with Arturo and couldn’t thank him enough. I highly recommend them both!

I cannot recommend Ann's Driving School enough! My instructor, Tiara, was professional, supportive and patient. She was a wonderful teacher, taking a calm and level-headed approach, which as an anxious driver, I really appreciated. Tiara was consistently checking in with me during our lessons, making sure I felt comfortable and that the lessons were going at a speed I was comfortable with (no pun intended). She is extremely knowledgeable on the Bay Area locations to practice driving with different levels of difficulty, and always explained everything to me so I understood when I was 'graduating' to the next level of difficulty. I'm not a big Yelper but I am so grateful to have had Tiarra as an instructor that I want to shout it from the rooftops. I grew up in SF and never learned to drive. I'm almost 40 and the more time that went by without learning, the scarier and scarier it became. Tiarra was the perfect antidote to my horrible anxiety about driving. Not only does she give excellent instructions but she was very attuned to how I was feeling in the car. She would frequently check in with me to see how I was doing and reassure me regularly that I was doing a good job, was being safe, and that I could do it.
