I had an appointment with Dr. Gutierrez yesterday, Friday, December 1. This was my second appointment with her since I had her last year as well. I've been seeing optometrists since high school (like 50 years ago). I must say, I have never had a better optometrist than Dr. Gutierrez, which is why I am giving this business 5 stars and leaving this review for you to read. (Before her, I would see Dr. Garratt who is also very good.) She spent a lot of time with me yesterday answering all my questions, addressing my concerns, and helping to put my eye conditions in perspective. I left the office feeling great about things! Rude... I had a question about my prescription and the receptionist was so rude. I've had issues several times with insurance and coverage due to poor communication in the past. The only time the staff seem happy are when you're purchasing $700 frames. I can't say I've enjoyed my experiences here. They're aren't bad, they aren't great. I won't be back and am eager to find a new eye doctor!
