pretty sure a Veteran can off themselves in the reception area while waiting on the SD VA (Specifically the San Diego system) and their response will be to prescribe Naproxin and tell them to see their primary care (who is the one that sent them there and is also useless) no disrespect to the nurses. . . .you guys are clearly over worked by doctors that are incompetent and a local administration that doesn't give a sh!!. they see 22 a day as a statistic to get more money and not a problem that needs to be fixed
The ambulatory surgical unit (for me) was top notch. They took excellent care of me before, during & after my surgery & they kept my daughter in the loop at all times (one less thing for me to worry about). The unit, my procedure team- my doctor- the chaplain- very awesome! Mahalos! ??
Took my Father to his Dr appointment. It's been a long time since I was last here when he had a surgery. I was grateful they were successful last time performing a rare procedure and saving his eye. Its nice to see have been many improvements with the facilities. The staff was very kind. The only thing is there is a wait for each step of an appointment. We were there for at least 2 1/2 hours. It would be nice to see more volunteers helping the veterans find what location their appointment is at, etc. as I witnessed a few veterans lost or sitting a long time but couldn't hear their name being called. But overall, my Dad is happy and taken care of. I appreciate... read full review
