I am very grateful for the care I received from Dr. Laventure during my visit at UCSD Medical Downtown. From the very beginning, he took the time to deeply explain my symptoms, potential concerns, and all possible diagnoses in a way that was clear, thoughtful, and reassuring. It was obvious that he is extremely knowledgeable, but what stood out most was how much he truly cared about helping me feel my best. He even took extra time to explore other symptoms I was experiencing just to be absolutely certain there was no other condition being overlooked. As soon as we landed for vacation, I knew my son was sick. We ended up going to two different urgent cares bc we were all sick - I’m only writing the this review bc UCSD Health was SOOO incredible they deserve the feedback. The facilities were so clean, kid-friendly, and safe. The staff were extremely professional and compassionate. 10/10 will return if we need to if we visited again, although - I hope we don’t have to! My husband took our other kids to a nearby park to play at.
