Such a fun and holistic experience for my son! He’s benefiting from goal setting at home, learning the tenets, which teaches him to be a good human and the discipline and perseverance he’s practicing within the classes have been outstanding to watch him take on.
I’ve been training at SwiftKick for 2 years and I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience. It has skilled instructors and supportive environment. It’s great for all levels. I love how the curriculum covers various aspects of martial arts, from self-defense techniques to sparring and conditioning. There’s always something new to learn, which keeps things exciting. SwiftKick has been a game-changer for me. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in martial arts, fitness, or personal growth. The energy is superb, the training is top-notch, and I always leave class feeling accomplished!
Fair warning, I have not attended SKMA since approximately 2015-2016 timeframe, but I highly doubt anything I'm about to say has changed. I started with SKMA back when it all began as a side hustle for Mr. Cowell as he was (I believe) a student at SDSU. In fact, we originally were using a church for class prior to SKMA moving into their current locations. I trained underneath Brian Cowell for approximately 7-8 years. There are no better boxing coaches or applied martial arts coaches, than Mr. Cowell himself.
