I recently visited Summer Nails & Spa on Friars Road, thanks to a birthday gift card from a friend who recommended I ask for Monica when booking my appointment. I'm so glad I did! There's plenty of parking available, so getting there was a breeze. Monica was amazing--friendly, attentive, and really welcoming, especially since it was my first time there. I went in for a pedicure, and I was pleasantly surprised by how reasonably priced their services are. It's very affordable, especially given the quality of care they provide. Monica took her time and made sure I was happy with how my nails turned out, which I really appreciated. I felt truly pampered, and it was clear they prioritize customer satisfaction.
Mia does amazing job with Gel X nails. I have gone from high end downtown nail shops to surrounding mission valley nail shops such as Boss Nails, Lavender Nails and Le Nails next to Costco and Gel X never lasted more than a week or two. With Mia, I'm able to push my fills for almost a month and she cares a lot about the health of my nails which after switching from acrylics to Gel X, my natural nails are much stronger. Monica, Kim and other ladies who have done my pedicures are very thorough and they take time with massages. I always felt so rested and never rushed. I get Deluxe pedicure (#4) every time and hot stones are included - Price here is unbeatable! I moved away from Mission Valley now but I'm still making my trip here every 3-4 weeks and I know I'm always greeted with kindness and care. If you haven't found your nail spot yet, this is where you should be.
