Reading the one star review makes me laugh, obviously you are not a contractor.
Time is money and its a service to exchange a water heater.
20 minutes at the desk is time not taking orders
I can order thousands of dollars worth of materials in five minutes.
Someone in back has to handle the water heater.
They have to dispose of the water heater.

This place is awesome from the moment you walk in. Workers all look like they enjoy their jobs and the speed to which they help the clients was impressive. I showed a couple of photos of some plumbing pieces I need and without any delay, the counter person disappeared behind the wall and brought one part out and then scurried off to another section of the building and returned with the other piece. Amazing (not just the fact they have it) but the level of customer service. I'm just a private guy - not the big plumbing businesses I saw in there that also received 5 star service. Great job and I've never received service like that at the Big Box Stores (you know who they are!)
The counter guy took one look at my bag o' parts and had what I needed...after way too many trips to the big box store. A tad pricey, yes, but worth the $$ in saving trips to other stores that don't carry the product for a 100 year old house. I highly recommend this place.
