We got married on a amazing sunny day in La Jolla and hired this company to take our pictures. When we got them back all of the photos look like it was a cloudy overcast miserable day. They told us it was the filter they used and nothing could be done. Who lives in sunny Southern California and wants their wedding photos to look like a Midwest overcast day. It so sad that our wedding photos were ruined because they decided to pick a crappy filter. This should have been communicated to us. I have attached the photo we took from our phones and a sample from the roughly $800 we spent for bad pictures. Their photos also made us look pale and sick. They may do good work but they sure didn't for us.

Groupon purchaser. I'm thankful I didn't pay full price for this service Their communication is not the greatest. I bought 10 pictures for my moms birthday and she reached out to schedule. They wrote her information down incorrectly and do not know how to verify information much less pick up a phone.When we scheduled, they didn't let us know they'd be on vacation and be back literally the same day of the shoot. Even day of all calls went to voicemail.We arrived early and the photographer was late to the sunset shoot. She snapped decent pictures but the editing did not come through. I found Spotlight Studios through a Groupon for a family session and was not sure what to expect going in. I could not have been happier with the end result. Kyla was great to work with, she listened to what we wanted and was up front from the beginning about what was and what was not included with our Groupon. No surprises! She gave us a choice of locations and knew exactly where to go once we got there. She was pleasant, professional and efficient and made the hour go by in a flash (no pun intended).
