SCE is top notch in every way. The horses, trainers, and facility at the Fairmont are superb. My daughter and I have been riding there for almost 4 months and I am exceedingly impressed at each lesson with the level of instruction we both receive. Our trainers, Ellie and Sam, are knowledgeable, encouraging, kind-hearted, and truly fantastic instructors. Everything about SCE centers around how much they care about their exceptional horses and it is wonderful to see how well they are taken care of. I am very thankful we’ve found such a great place to grow as equestrians!

So I haven't ridden a horse in years and I decided to take my kids for a trail ride. Luckily for me I found South Coast! And really it was very fortunate as there does not seem to be any other trail riding facilities in San Diego. The place was great. Plenty of parking and it was extremely easy access right off of the 56, close to both the 5 and the 15. What a great time we had! Lacy and Jessica were both awesome. They asked us about any previous experience so that they could match the horse with the riders. It was a great ride. The property borders up on the Grand Del Mar Resort and we were able to ride around their golf course! Not on the golf course, just around it, but it was still beautiful. .Jessica kept the kids entertained throughout the entire ride. They had a great time and really enjoyed themselves. We all had an awesome time. We will definitely be back!
