This the best veterinary hospital, I have ever been too ! Everyone is so sweet and caring .My little fur baby and I ,felt right at home and we received an appointment right away ,no waiting !!
I adopted 2 kittens from a cat rescue in Los Angeles over 3 weeks ago. My normal vet was on vacation and i wanted to get my kitten checked out for ringworm. She had a scab and hair loss. This was my first time at Shelter Island Vet. They saw my kitten even though I told them I have my regular vet that I have used for 8 years. Even though they new this they still gave great care! Yes, my kitten has ringworm. So if anyone is looking for a new vet I recommend Shelter Island Veterinary! I will be using them as my back up vet.
Everyone treated us great and got my amazing senior Luna back to running. Elizabeth is such an amazing manager who keeps the hospital great. Lizzie an amazing receptionist who made us feel with confidence that Luna was going to be great. Overall, every worker is very talented and great at the job. The vet is great at elaborating everything. It is an hour away, but definitely worth it. Thank you ?
