Robert is the best cobbler in San Diego. The first time I went to his shop, he fixed two pairs of my leather shoes for a very reasonable price. I brought in a vintage Coach handbag with a broken strap. He mended it virtually indetectably and conditioned the leather on the entire bag. It looks like new! Although I was expecting to leave my bag for a week or more, he called before I finished my errands to say he was done. Fast, beautiful, and affordable -- you can't ask for more!
Roberto delivered excellent service at a very reasonable price. The heel of one of my boots came off and I needed a new one. He replaced both heels with Vibram materials. He took the initiative to nail on the heel replacement instead of just using glue and he polished both boots! I hadn't worn these boots in weeks because of the heel issue so they didn't look their best when I brought them in to his shop. After having the heel fixed, the polish really brought life into them again. 10/10 Very diligent work. I will be going to him every time I have a shoe repair need!
