Rachel photographed our elopement in San Diego and from our very first conversation I loved how generous she was with her time and the vision and organization she brought to the whole process. She is very knowledgeable about the San Diego County Clerk office, and gave excellent advice about everything from where to park to where to take the coolest shots. I used Rachel for a quick professional headshot shoot and she made things incredibly easy: no problem scheduling a time, she provided great thoughts on coloring based on my skin tone, had a great local location with incredible light to shoot at, the whole process on the day of took under 10 minutes, and I had the refined photos in my inbox within 2 hours. A colleague once told me, "...when you feel the urge to take a leap, jump!" With this future venture into private practice, I had been eyeing Rachel McFarlin Photography. One day in May, I decided that it was time to "jump" into scheduling a head shot photo appointment. I was pleased with the quick response (same day!) and Rachel's willingness to meet with me prior to leaving out of town the following week. There was no rush for my request. I was open to meeting with her upon her return. At the head shot photo appointment, Rachel was easy to speak with. She was open to getting to know me and my upcoming business journey, which I really appreciated. I felt at ease and a sense of trust and confidence. She was great with giving me direction and helped with fixing my bangs/hair when they wanted to go their every-which-way. I was impressed with the quick turnaround.
