Monarch Barbershop is an establishment of purposeful design and craftmanship. This is not a cost cutting, sport clipping type of shop. From the barberchair, the rustic luminescents highlight some of the greatest ever to enter the squared circle. The walls are tattered with antiqued gold frames housing photos of Muhammad Ali, Roy Jones Jr, Mike Tyson and other “kings” of their time, leading you to the salient lounge. Modernized chic chairs and the perfectly hued couch focus attention to two towering bookcases and an elegantly mid century furniture. The room is intended to be a place to kick back and relax, to engage in conversation and take a moment to escape from the outside world.
