The doctor provides so much information and is so kind! I very much enjoyed my time at this appointment. I've had contacts for over half my life and he taught me things that I never even heard of before.

My partner and I could not be more satisfied with the care we received at LNY Optometry! Firstly, if you are someone who is still invested in taking covid-19 precautions they are incredibly accommodating. They booked our appointments back-to-back and no one else entered the building during that time. They were also happy to mask and perform our examinations while we were wearing our masks. The office was so peaceful and I could see it being a good place for people who get nervous at the optometrist, a child, or even someone who may have sensory sensitivities. Aside from all that, they were extremely thorough and efficient. Even though we whizzed through all the eye diagnostics, I never felt at all rushed. Dr. Yonemasu has an amazing "bedside manner" and explained everything as we did it. He was so receptive to any questions I had and very knowledgeable as he guided me through the whole appointment. He was also very sensitive to my partner who had been experiencing eye irritation and performed a treatment while we were in the office. Additionally there was no pressure from them at all to make any glasses purchases, but I did end up with a different prescription than the one I thought I had and I was happy to be able to support their office with my purchase. I will happily return to LNY for my annual eye exam as long as I am living in San Diego.
